Some lines carry more than they need to. Terso helps you see them, without writing over you.

Terso shows local analysis as you work. Open a finding to see why it was flagged; keep the text, revise it yourself, or ask for an optional suggestion.

Review hard-to-read sentences, passive voice, repeated words, filler, adverbs, qualifiers and paragraph rhythm. Terso explains each finding in its place.
You make the edits
Optional AI assistance proposes revisions for the passage you choose. Suggestions appear for review and change the document only when you accept them.

Not an authorship verdict.
Compare measurable features of your prose with reference ranges. Terso reports AI-style signals as Low, Moderate or Elevated, with the underlying features available to inspect. These patterns cannot determine who wrote a passage.

The editor and deterministic writing analysis work offline, without an API key or AI model. Terso has no telemetry. Optional AI assistance is off until you enable it, and only receives the passage you choose when you request help.
